The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Only very few moments capture some glimpses of a Gene Kelly musical. Unlike Bruce Lee’s martial arts, actors fail to express themselves truly through body movements or singing, although Spielberg's mise-en-scene nails it, the 2021 version of WSS is far from a good remake. Still love it for speaking up for the minorities.

场面调度和摄影都很喜欢，音乐结合舞蹈也十分精彩，只是故事的逻辑多少难以接受，没有代入感。

最后一部奥斯卡最佳影片题目，冲着斯皮尔伯格看的，太难看了，几次硬着头皮看完，太失望了。本来就不喜欢歌舞片，这部跟那些经典更是不能比。
想看斯皮尔伯格怎么改，除了男主，都是剧场演员啊。/斯皮尔伯格并没有改，完全是老夫聊发少年狂。
这应该是斯皮尔伯格在中国评分最低的电影，但是居然入围了奥斯卡最佳影片，这算是东西方文化差异吗？就算是那么爱看歌舞片的我也看不下去，没看过原著没有那份情怀，歌不好听舞难看，这种罗密欧与朱丽叶的故事放到今天也老土而过时，唯一值得称道的或许只有导演对场面的调度把控吧！那编排个舞台剧不比拍成电影好？

不曾想能看到斯皮尔伯格拍出“玛丽苏”式毫无新意的俗套
怎么说呢 女主有brain damage 而男主是恋爱脑。This story doesn't age well at all.
Love Actually絕對是最難看的聖誕電影不能更同意
我明白为什么斯皮尔伯格一定要拍它了，对于儿时的他来说真的太过私密了，如果在不趁着现在拍出来，以后他既没精力更没机会了。大师的手笔拍出来的极具光影的质感和精彩绝伦的编排让这部电影更加勃勃生机，包括政治正确的外表也让它更贴近当下，但是它的内核就是老白男的雄性故事。斯如果改了就不是西区故事里，但是其中的表达太过于落后这个时代了，你如果硬找里面的先进性也是属于50年代的，放到现在也算不上多前卫，斯导老了，有一个真正属于他自己的童年追忆给我们看也许并不是坏事，失望算不上，但至少不够多惊喜吧
更喜欢汉密尔顿，换一个能hold 住的女演员会不辱没这么经典的音乐剧，
配角们真的很牛配角们的唱跳真的很牛
又是无法理解安塞尔埃尔高特能演男主的一天呢~
