The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 小孩真的那么重要吗？郑爽想打掉的孩子怎么办？
应该是个网络电影吧，算是比较高品质的了。没想到小董在里面也有戏份，还不算少，有点感慨那些年追过的恋综了。
这次的故事主线比较清晰，比起第二部要好很多，观影时数度想起了《碟中谍》这类电影。新人物不多，这部电影还是可以看的。小动物太可爱了！我永远喜欢嗅嗅和麒麟！
代孕真的要禁止啊，这好歹也是一条生命，想要就要，不要就抛弃，感情自己没付出啥，就这么随意，钱也没到位，孩子以及代孕女孩这命运就改变了。最后结局为啥女主要把娃就在自己身边，还给美国人其实挺好，可以有自己的生活，想娃了也可以去美国看他，在美国娃还可以受到更好的教育。
典型印度歌舞片，女主自己的选择后面一直责怪司机也是迷。2.5星。严肃题材就不要唱跳了嘛，结尾也是强行he。
这根本没吸取多少上一部口碑崩坏的教训啊，还是又拖沓又无趣，系列都第三部了，看着这一群新角色依然无感，唯一的改进是神奇动物更有作用地出场减少了单纯的展现。大卫叶茨导了7部已然枯竭，让他下课吧！另外让德普回来吧！上部还有德普的反派魅力撑着，这部麦叔演的格林德沃差太远了吧，完全被碾压。
从题材设定，故事内容，角色情感和演员表现各方面来看都算是很优的电影。故事有转折，所以在看的时候情绪会被牵动，跟着电影里的人又笑又哭回
印度果然善于敢于拍摄现实题材，把本来属于悲剧的代孕题材电影以喜剧形式展现出来。相对于富裕、表面有教养实质无担当的美国爽子夫妇，主角虽有小狡猾的缺点，但在大节上，更显得有担当，不惧生活的麻烦，幽默乐观和善良。限于喜剧题材（或者主创人员无法两全其美），影片强行以美国爽子收养印度孤女结尾，但观众心里面白，这在现实中几乎不可能发生，也冲淡了影片警示现实的意义。
带有喜剧氛围的印度电影，从题材设定， 故事内容，演员表现各方面来看，是一部很棒的电影。
差点三观就立不住了，幸好演员演技在线，结局用大爱无疆圆满了。
麦叔演技太好了，太适合演反派了，下车去人群中感受欢呼那段我真的大呼带感，开头结尾ggad也嗑死我了，因为麦叔我真的喜欢第三部甚至超过第一部！！！ 最后十分钟真的很虐，我不由地想起在看哈利波特时候魔法世界的历史，邓布利多最伟大的成就，战胜格林德沃。阿不思啊，真的好孤独啊。
孩子不需要自己生也可以做父母生的孩子不是自己的也可以做父母。
本国女孩代孕发达国家夫妻，印度人家还是拍出来了，思想开放，认识到自己的不足，其实才是国家进步的关键。其实讲的都是人同此心，心同此理的故事，但印度人家讲出来了，中国应该更有自信让思想开放，不管是和印度还是米国竞争，这都是核心竞争力。
孩子没有缺陷，有缺陷的是不顾别人自私自利的心。
