The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 好舒服好温柔的一个片子，在城市间穿梭，收录着沙滩列车行人的声音，大人小孩情感的交流和接纳，一起呼喊i'm not fine. 中间穿插着所有的关于未来关于现在关于超能力的采访都充满了亲和力和想象力。
黑白，诗意。我们是否也应该被孩子们教育呢？不知道，因为我们从未倾听过。影片缺点就是太平淡，小孩任性引起不适了。总之谈不上喜欢。

such a beautiful movie in its own right. magically, first time feel right to have a movie in black and white. often thought childhood is the most carefree period and forgot it's also almost the most sensitive time, compelled to take in the turbulences from surrounding environments, and struggled to cope as much as adults, so not really an easy time in retrospect. this movie covers this topic with such tenderness and well crafted structure, nicely done

3.5。A24的品味真好，褪色的纽约与洛杉矶是如此的“冷漠”，而以舅舅这个角色进入到一个破碎的家庭里变成了“褪色”教育里的父亲、朋友。如访谈节目一样给观众们上一课，效果不是很佳.....
“你们这代人已经缺少了这种安宁静”
十分温润的电影。如果可以温柔对待谁不可爱呢。
你会在这里看到很多丑恶的事情，但是这里也很美，虽然你可能会遇到方方面面的问题，但是你也会看到一些善良的人，有着金子般的心，虽然他们不认识你。

柔软而又舒服，跟着你自己的现在，去探索你曾经的过去以及展望你的未来，这是一件多么伟大而又美好的事情，在这一路中又完成了自己与家人、爱人之间的遗憾，这种时而自省时而自生的人间，特别的美好。
电影很奇怪，以一种文本密集的姿态登场，却只有非常少的信息量，几次以为要触及问题的核心，几次又绕了过去，最后只能落在一个不痛不痒的地方，稍稍有点尴尬了。
我倒是没有很强烈的这种感觉
ps.这个导演名字挺逗
下一站要去新奥尔良。后知后觉这是Landmarks Embarcadero permanently closed之前的最后一部。
中文电影名真的很迷，干脆叫扭计外甥大战新手舅父啦(-ι_- )
这种慢慢慢慢风格放在英文电影上感觉总有点奇怪
