The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 很有伯格曼的感觉，空间局限在小房间里，看点在两人间的互动张力变化。Nancy太有趣了，前半段我一直在笑，以及没想到第一次居然是个从白天开始的case！看了大家的负面评价，看时完全没有想到那部分。我觉得影片的重点在“年老后渐成的女性主义新成员”，以及片子写男人的心理也写得挺好的。男主的劲儿有点儿陈伟霆。

圣丹斯电影节总会带来惊喜。简单至极的电影场景，复杂的人物对话，以对白驱动故事发展，好像也多如牛毛，但这部片子有许多讨巧之处。女性导演在探讨女性内心，本身就很有看点。
像一堂轻松治愈的心理课。如何对自我诚实，接受欲望，摆脱耻感。可以列入各大女性必看片单了。为艾玛汤普森女士疯狂鼓掌👏👏👏

虽然只有两个人的戏，但是人物关系的渐近，和慢慢剖析出的人的性格和背景都非常有戏。感觉是很好的戏。
