The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 放的时间久了，竟然不能适应最后一部少年变成大人。
如果你不是认真看过TV版旧剧场版的EVA粉丝，那么这只是一部8/10的高水准动画，可你会觉得没那么劲爆精彩，尤其剧情有些莫名奇妙。而如果你是EVA的老粉，那么这就是一部10/10的属于你的青春纪念诗篇。
可惜的就是3D太多了
大家都在成长，美理小姐孩子都跟少年当时一样大了，曾经的战友初恋比你先长大，绫波已经过完了两次“人生”，连Penpen都有了一个家。只有这对父子还没长大，然后长大了，和解了，世界还没那么糟糕，还有点希望。原来碇源堂才是那个中二少年，原来渚的存在比想象中更有希望感。幻想驾驶EVA拯救世界的少年们，你们也长大了啊

比起作为动画电影 把它当作艺术创作可能更合适 我觉得最后人类补完计划还是实行的 后面的种种就是真嗣视角的补完 而这部影片是所有制作者对这部历时二十多年的作品的补完

原来最中二的还是老爹啊，真是有其子必有其父~
终于知道为啥当时出来一票子差评了，生生的末日剧的结尾来了个happy ending，以及让人顿时觉得这是部青春剧，讲述了一位14岁少年的成长史。这一切仿佛是场梦，最终都要回归现实。
早安，晚安，谢谢，再见。
这么多年，绫波的头发长长了，少年也长大了。
EVA对于痞子来说一直是个噩梦和美梦的结合体，尽管新剧场完全和老TV不是一个东西，但自私的我还是喜欢有意无意地进行比对。“终”可以说是对这四部曲的完美谢幕与落点，但我其实品到了很多疲惫与不堪。
3+1的结局让整个新剧场版变成了Metafiction
