The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 和期待中的犯罪惊悚路线毫不搭嘎，你以为的玩弄心计的野心家女士也不过展现成了一位祈求怜爱而不得的蠢妇。视听语言与美术自然是不掉链子的精彩，嘎姐的确与生机勃勃偏要勉强的灵魂无限贴合。Leto好惊喜，发现Tom Ford的演员不是他之后我才猛然发觉他是Gucci家的傻儿子，但即便如此，司机先生还是压了大家一头，他好厉害啊！
大富之家，是非更多。
阵容没话说，父与子、叔与侄、兄弟与夫妻之间为了家族品牌不断挑起纷争的故事也很有开发价值，可惜雷老做出来的效果就像记流水账，平铺直叙，一点儿冲突的紧张也没有，有人被忽悠，有人入了狱，有人被暗杀，这些大事件仿佛不起眼的小事，就这么发生了。
6.5，老雷这部有些虎头蛇尾的，角色塑造的有些单调
荡气回肠的豪门家族悲剧史诗，主要角色没有一个讨喜的，雷老爷子冷眼看着这一家人彼此斗个鱼死网破，最后便宜了外人。时代的潮流不可逆，古驰家族的衰落也是必然，败给了资本，败给了市场发展的必然

9命……#这是在干什么#老雷是缺钱了还是怎么的，剧本好烂但老雷明显也没花心思在这个片子上，还不如金钱世界啊。gaga演的一般，能拿提名实在是因为今年小年。希望老雷连扑了两个片子是因为他在全身心搞《不列颠空战》，不然我是真的要脱粉。
听了个豪门八卦，这八卦还揉杂了爱情、凶杀等等很多元素，没什么精彩的就是挺狗血
作为如此一个抓马的故事，成品实在是过于工整了。坐在电影院的两个半小时真的让我觉得如坐针毡。导演/剪辑/编剧真的浪费了这么好的一个故事+演员班底。另外Lady Gaga的表现远超预期，和星诞时候相比简直是脱胎换骨了。有个镜头让我想到了斯宾塞里最被拿出来说事的锤球台耸肩那一镜（当然比后者表现好非常多），完全没有预告片里的强烈出戏感，成片看下来是相当有层次的表演。 有些人真的是天生当演员的料。
主角感觉都没定明白却拍地让人不得不站边；感觉只是练手玩玩毕竟隔壁最后决斗同样是一起做的质量完全不一样；服装和一些巧思还挺有考究的
如此抓马又时尚的故事拍得如此沉闷过时，太失望了。甚至于我这么容易种草的人，都没有去买一个Gucci单品的冲动。
太悲伤了，家族必须团结一心啊！！！... :(
这部电影拍得实在是味同嚼蜡，很难看下去都......
非常平的流水账真的是毫无惊喜（大概只记得床戏很新颖了），期待的悬疑商战让人紧张刺激的元素一个都没有。gaga的patrizia也毫无层次（对不起），除了是个泼妇之外竟然没有一丝让我觉得这个女人有魅力的地方。ps：那个傻儿子竟然是Leto演的！
卡司挺强，题材也够有关注度，何况是这么一个全球有影响的品牌。不知是不是两位主演不够靓帅，还是编剧技巧有问题，抑或是主演的演技太low，反正这电影感觉挺一般，连床戏看着都假，让人觉得没啥兴趣。既是豪门恩怨，又有黑社会参与，何不换个路子拍呢？
lady gaga本色出演土鳖心机女，演得真的挺好的。。。然后古琦家族一团乱，和大部分有钱家族的故事没啥不同，直到现在运营这个品牌的已经没有古琦的人了，一场人间喜剧。电影较长，卡司不错，但挺无聊的。
似乎老头对这场狗血闹剧其实也没多大兴趣，除了冷眼旁观的视角外，十几年的跨度，情节推进草草了事，至于司机和Gaga，举手投足都不像意大利人。
商業和家庭的多層悲劇怎麼會以她為主要敘述角度？大廈傾盡，怪女人 永遠比解決問題更簡單。不聞夏殷衰，中自誅褒妲。到底，我們應該拍攝什麼樣的傳記片。
