The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 末世公路片，喜欢它拍得温情而幽默，在如今的世情下，太需要这样的片子让人喘一口气了。
这每次世界末日都是主角和狗，那些cat person会不会觉得被冒犯到，从来没见跟猫子survive from the end of the world.. 而且这片子老让我想起Joey拍的那个Mac & Cheese, Finch & Jeff
一人、一狗、两机，能拍出这么深刻的感情不易。
老年人版的《少女终末旅行》。狗萌，汤姆汉克斯演技依然爆表，机器人有点意思，其他部分非常平庸。

只有我觉得这个机器人很油腻嘛…人物和背景设定都很单薄无力，刻意煽情，完全无法和WallE比
这部的气质简直是月球+失明症漫记+2012。以及真的是加长版的爱死机诶，于是就像爱死机用表现力来掩盖剧本的问题一样，本片是用汤姆汉克斯（及狗狗）神一般的演技来掩盖了剧本的问题，但因为气质对味也因为Jeff虽然不合理但过于可爱，所以我还算是愿意接受这个故事的叭。（但还是想吐槽能搞出这种几乎能通过图灵测试的机器人了不去拯救一下世界吗大叔！
—末日题材往往太重末日，轻情感。此片有点《我是传奇》和《机器人总动员》的感观。
这首首尾呼应的歌真是让人流泪。Bye bye miss American pie
有点像是《我是传奇》和《机器管家》的合体故事，但是前两者都已经到了高峰，不好超越了。

温暖小清新式末日公路片，个人很喜欢，以及，Jeff可真是个可爱懂事能担起家庭重担的二胎呀。
一个老父亲拉扯三个可爱的傻孩子，教会他们信任传递。简单而温暖，适合疫情当前给人以慰藉。
温情的末世小品，忽略掉微微突兀的加州情怀（？），都很好。
