The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 本来想打五星，一星扣掉是因为那些完全没有存在意义的丧尸戏份……另外，我越来越喜欢德国电影了……
很是无聊 平淡 听片名感觉很有意思很是刺激又聪明的一个团队 然后完成一个大爽片 但其实很无聊 平淡
从来没有看过如此高开低走虎头蛇尾的片子，前部分貌似具备大片潜质，画质光影气氛营造满满，仿佛又是一部帅哥美女鸳鸯大盗的故事。中后段慢慢拉跨，片头号称不可能破解的三大保险柜就让男主听音辨析轻轻松松给破解了，中途也并没有太多的曲折和反转，而男女主与肌肉男的恩怨却占据了太多篇幅，真正的盗窃桥段单薄而草率，动机也那么无趣，为了破解而破解，人物的形象扁平而单调。女主还是很漂亮，毕竟是权游和速激女郎，颜值身材俱佳，男主就有点傻萌，并不能撑起全片，2个多小时权当娱乐吧。

丧尸作为新闻背景，结尾和活死人军团连上了。有点平平无奇，太普通了。制作还可以。就是简单的按顺序尼伯龙根歌剧四章节，前三章的顺序，挨个到银行，可是没啥好讲的，没有反派。
就是一个比较无聊的爽片，杀杀时间，属于那种看完就忘记的影片
稍感冗长，但小幽默遍及全片，还是很耐看的一部苞米花电影。
除了男主全员工具人，很多地方匪夷所思，干脆不带脑子了。几乎没有高潮戏，柯琳娜妥协得也太easy了点。
好久没有看这样的爽片了，结尾略有拉胯，总体还是不错的，四星推荐！！
但是女主的开锁动机是什么呢？我还以为她是锁创作者的女儿呢。
整个故事逻辑有点不同，也就是爆米花向的，反正主体电影也不怎么样，何况单人的……
上课的时候看了个结尾，挺拉胯的。看完整个觉得更拉胯了
剧情有其可取之处，开保险箱和尼伯龙根的指环拉上关系还是让人感兴趣的，可惜，也就只有这些了，毕竟娱乐片关键还是要节奏，而且还是在男女主角本身魅力还不足的情况下。

作为扎克·施奈德导演《活死人军团》前传的《神偷军团》，马提亚斯·施维赫夫自导自演迪特尔的故事，无论是情节设计，还是影片的节奏感马提亚斯·施维赫夫都把控的很不错。
以为是丧尸片呢，病毒传遍地球，还有空去开锁？剧情真是够无聊的，只怪娜塔莉小姐姐太性感，谁不想亲亲呢？
无聊看看可以，处处透露着小成本三个字。但是锁匠的表演还可以。剧情嘛，聊胜于无。说是前传，但说老实话没有那几个切换的话，不是没有联系，至少也是毫无瓜葛了。
