比较一般的女性动作片吧。全篇都是靠 Maggie Q的魅力在支撑。
除了发型和服装，没有一处像aretha, 尤其是音乐，这和她平时的唱法有区别吗？
好听是一回事，把和你不相干的句子能唱到你心里是另一个高度，而这位被誉为“灵魂女王”的瑞，的确有如此打动人的歌唱天赋。其实就她出生的年代而言，是艰辛的，父亲是那种独裁式的人物，少小遇到性侵扭曲了爱情观，唯一的寄托是民权运动，最尊敬的人马丁路德金却不幸遇刺。不管有天大的天赋，命运还是仰赖自己的觉醒。影片最后，不再追逐名利的瑞，回归福音中沉淀自我，终获平静，成为了自己的女王。
酗酒那段跳的有点突兀，平权运动的可以再展开说一下，jhud唱功无敌了。
我连续看了三部，只有第一部叫逃狱，后面两部叫防逃狱兄弟差不多。
香烟依然是监狱福利。
流水线模板人物纪录片，看完并没有很清晰的富兰克林的画像出现在脑海里。
香港的监狱有闭路电视啦？那么想搞事更难了。想起几年前的躲猫猫等事件。内地的监狱是不是也到处是摄像头了？
怎么就算中规中矩？导演，编剧，表演，哪一项能及格了？
这个系列确实挺好看的，一部比一部好看，强烈推荐！！！
小姑娘跟她妈妈四手联弹然后即兴sing-talk，像是在演音乐剧一样，我很喜欢她妈妈跟她说的那句话：
回顾了Aretha前半生的故事 不过本片后半段太过着重于描写其内心的迷失与在教会中找回信仰的过程 反而弱化了她作为黑人平权运动领袖人物等社会属性的描写
音乐太多，人物挖掘太少，不算是一个好的人物传记电影……其实这个人物值得挖掘的地方太多了，闪光点也太多了，但是导演都避开了……………
前段铺垫偏长，细节交代不明确。需要对Aretha Franklin 生平所有了解的人，可能更容易产生共鸣。很喜欢影片中所有融入的Jazz元素。也为最后，Aretha坚持promote church music所感动。这影片让人思考很多，个人的追求，家庭的束缚，以及爱情婚姻的选择。
这第三部假的离谱，电影也不是这样演的，这监狱是玩过家家的吧！
