The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 潮汕方言的外来媳妇本地郎，现实只会比电影更苛刻，远没有结尾这么理想化。
讲普通人的故事，有地方特色，但是剧情、节奏、表演都差了点火候。最后太拖沓了。女猪脚不好看，眼窝看起来十分怪。
国产电影需要更多这种接地气的片子，而不是央六最爱的那些非院线电影，也不是院线那些无病呻吟故作矫情强行煽情生硬要人感动的东东。
